The Shed

January 27, 2010

So there isn’t a whole lot we are able to do right now, but to say we are anxious to be doing something is an understatement. Thus, we decided we needed a cool, dry place to rest our bones during the really hot days of summer. Ladies and Gentleman, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our shed. Do we have any kind of engineering experience? {Scoff} Irrelevant. We . . . college degree clad, strong backed and stronger willed . . . we can do this.

Coffee = Success

Raw material, Brian? “Check”

A good hard work ethic is essential to any and all structural endeavors.

Was Brian excited about building a shed?  You be the judge.

Things rarely go as planned (which is a politically correct way to say, we forgot the tape measure), so minor adjustments were necessary. (This was the least goofy picture I could find of this phase in the project, and it is still goofy, in a terrible kind of way.)

Duct Taping the many holes in the roof.

Yes, we were very proud.

Play your cards right and maybe one day you can come sit under our modern miracle, eat some vegetables and slap some mosquitoes.
